It was interesting to compare and contrast these two, and overall I'd say both of them are worth a look.PURCHASE THE ONE-OFF NARITA BOY: TECHNO EDITION AND PLAY A PART IN SAVING THE ARCADE WORLD Own the only privately available Narita Boy arcade cabinet in the world as part of the ultimate collector’s edition of the retrovania, action-adventure game. Between the two, Zen World has potential (particularly its planned campaign mode), but Dorfromantik is more polished, has a more defined visual style, and held my interest longer.

Dorfromantik works more like a puzzle game, having more variety in tiles and incentivizing you to arrange them in particular ways to earn more tiles and a better score. Zen World leans into the strategy aspect with settlers wandering the map, building cities, gathering new tiles and upgrades if you give them a path. Both games are outwardly similar (place terrain tiles to grow your map, keep going until you run out of tiles), but take the idea in different directions.
